Selling an enamelled glass from the coronation of the Tsar. Witness to the Khodynka tragedy. Defects visible in the photo.
The Khodynka tragedy was an accident that occurred in the Russian Empire, Moscow, at Khodynka Field on May 18, 1896. In the large crowd, 1,379 people were trampled to death.
