Sekojot šai modes tendencei, labākās porcelāna manufaktūras savos izstrādājumos centās iemūžināt dzīvo ziedu skaistumu. Šo šķīvju dekorā attēlotas kuplas rozes, kas vizuāli atgādina slaveno "Damasas rozi" (Rosa damascena) — vēsturisku šķirni, kas gadsimtiem ilgi tikusi godāta tās karaliskā izskata un maiguma dēļ. Pilns komplekts, 6 gabali.
✨ Antique dessert plates, 1930, Czechoslovakia (6 pcs.)
I offer for purchase an exquisite set of six dessert plates created in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s. These items are an authentic echo of the "beautiful era" (Belle Époque) and a fine example of table culture.
Historical heritage and the magic of roses
In the early 20th century, Europe was engulfed by a true "rose mania." Cultivating rare and magnificent rose varieties was a passion of the aristocracy and the wealthiest social
strata. A splendid rose garden at that time was a symbol of high status, wealth, and refined taste.
Following this fashion trend, the best porcelain manufacturers sought to immortalize the beauty of living flowers in their products. The decor of these plates features lush roses that visually resemble the famous "Damask rose" (Rosa damascena) — a historical variety revered for centuries for its royal appearance and tenderness. Complete set, 6 pieces.
Collection-worthy — without chips or cracks. The original gilded rim has been preserved. Only very slight signs of use, developed over the years, are visible, which only confirm the authenticity of the items and their nearly 100-year history.
These plates will add aristocratic charm to your festive table or become a valuable addition to a vintage porcelain collection.
