Obverse of the coin
The obverse of the coin features nine embossed steps with a mirror-smooth surface. The top step, a circular segment, is gilded and associates with the edge of a rising sun, visually echoing the logo of the Bank of Latvia. At the bottom is the year 2022.

Reverse of the coin
The reverse surface is gilded and matte. At the top, the inscription LATVIJAS BANKA is placed in a semicircle, and at the bottom – 5 EURO.

Edge of the coin
Smooth, gilded.
