The pole is already filled with sphagnum moss (capable of absorbing up to 10x its weight in water). Air roots from monstera, philodendron, epipremnum, syngonium, and other plants grow into the moss, absorbing moisture and nutrients, resulting in stronger stems and larger leaves.

Watering can be done from above with a regular plastic bottle with a small hole in the cap.
The pole can be easily attached to the pot using cable ties through the drainage holes.
