A refined, collector-favorite Denby “Birds of a Feather” mug set, produced in England, Derbyshire, around the 1970s–1980s. This series was created in collaboration with artist John Morland, whose watercolors depict four characteristic British birds – Chaffinch, Robin, Blue Tit, and Wren.
The mugs are made of high-quality ceramics, with a brownish rim and classic shape typical of Denby workshops. The painting is detailed and authentic – each mug
depicts a bird and additionally contains a brief description of its species' characteristics.
