Patiks:
• tiem, kas novērtē stāstu, nevis perfektu virsmu
• kolekcionāriem ar ironiju
• kādam, kurš spēj sniegt "glābšanas darbus".
Stāvoklis: roka salīmēta, skabarga — joprojām aktuāla, vecums — cienījams. ">
He looks young - but in reality, he is almost 100 years old. Made in Germany, Thuringia (Katzhütte), between 1914 and 1945. So, formally: a boy. Informally: a gentleman with experience. Events have occurred in his life: his arm was once glued, but he sees no problem in that. Now all that concerns him is a splinter in his foot. And here's the irony: a centenarian figure worried about a minor issue. We also tend to do just that. Therefore, this sculpture is not only a classic in porcelain but also a bit about ourselves - grown-ups, with our "glued arms," yet worrying precisely about splinters. Will appeal to: • those who appreciate the story, not the perfect surface • collectors with irony • someone capable of providing "rescue work." Condition: arm glued, splinter - still relevant, age - honorable.
