Vintage coffee spoons with pre-revolutionary pattern "Rose"
Kolchugino Tableware Factory
MNT, around 1960
Offering an elegant set of coffee spoons with the classic pre-revolutionary ornament "Rose" — one of the most famous historical patterns preserved and continued to be used by various manufacturers even during Soviet times.
The spoons were produced at the Kolchugino Tableware Factory (Кольчугинский завод), whose history dates back to 1871. Initially, it specialized
in the smelting of non-ferrous metals and high-quality copper, brass, and nickel products. In the 20th century, the factory became one of the largest and most recognizable tableware manufacturers in the entire USSR, especially known for precise relief patterns and durable material processing.
The spoons are made from MNT alloy (brass-nickel-zinc), which ensures:
• high durability for everyday use;
• very good corrosion resistance;
• a bright, silver-like tone.
The surface has an aesthetic silver plating, giving the set a classic, noble appearance.
Length: 12 cm
Quantity: set of 6 spoons
Condition: very good, with clear ornaments and preserved factory quality.
Original price 2 rubles 75 kopecks per unit, was very high at that time - attesting to the product's quality level.
