Dried porcini mushrooms retain all the rich, woody flavor notes and are an excellent addition to soups, stews, sauces, and meat dishes. Before use, soak the porcini mushrooms in warm water for 5–10 minutes to return them close to the fresh mushroom consistency. Store in a dry place.
