Šī rūpība un pašdisciplīna vēlāk atspoguļojās arī Lāsmas attieksmē pret darbu – viņa ir pazīstama kā maksimāliste, kura visu dara līdz galam un precīzi.

Kinokarjeras negaidītais sākums
Lai gan viņa ir slavena ar lomu filmā "Lietus blūzs", viņas pirmā parādīšanās uz ekrāna (epizodē) bija filmā "Ilgais ceļš kāpās", kur viņa bērnībā veda zirgu gar jūras malu saulrietā. Viņai ir bijusi arī maza lomiņa filmā "Vella kalpi Vella dzirnavās".

"Skroderdienas" Record
The actress has participated in the legendary play "Skroderdienas Silmačos" since 1975. She has lived through an entire woman's life in it, portraying three different roles:
• Initially, she was the young and mischievous Ieviņa;
• Later, she became Pindacīša;
• Now she steps on stage as Bebene. Inherited Calligraphic Handwriting
Lāsma's father, director Raimonds Kugrēns, originally had very poor handwriting. However, during his exile in Siberia, working in the secretariat, he learned to write in excellent calligraphy to survive. This meticulousness and self-discipline later reflected in Lāsma's attitude towards work – she is known as a perfectionist who completes everything thoroughly and precisely.

The Unexpected Start of a Film Career
Although she is famous for her role in the film "Lietus blūzs," her first screen appearance (in an episode) was in the film "Ilgais ceļš kāpās," where she led a horse along the seaside at sunset in her childhood. She also had a small role in the film "Vella kalpi Vella dzirnavās."
