Beasts that no one has seen, only us.
The poems in the book tell about 27 species of creatures that, except for the authors, no one has seen. These creatures are similar not only to animals and plants but also to us - humans. They tend to be happy, curious, confused, and lonely, trying to understand life, the various feelings and emotions that people experience - sadness, melancholy, conflicting feelings about their bodies, and the desire to be someone else. The author has imagined and described these feelings with heartfelt
humor and witty wordplay, while the artist has created a unique and vibrant personality for each character in the vivid illustrations. The poetry book "Beasts that no one has seen, only us" (Djur som ingen sett utom vi), illustrated by Ulf Stark and Linda Bondestam, has been translated from Swedish by Juris Kronbergs.
The book is suitable for preschool and younger school-age children.
Publisher: Liels un mazs. Hardcover.
The book is new, bought and has been sitting on the shelf unread.
