Swedish writer Elin Cullhed (born 1983) was born in Uppsala and began her professional career as a teacher and later as a cultural journalist. Her second novel "Euphoria" (Eufori, 2021) is prose for adults and brought her worldwide fame – the book became one of the most critically acclaimed novels of 2021 and won several prestigious awards, including Sweden's annual "August Prize" for the best fiction work of 2021.
