The book "Plastic Hooligans" has repeatedly appeared in bestseller lists, won second place in the Latvian National Library's reading promotion program, and was nominated for the Jānis Baltvilks Award. A theater play and animated film "Dusmukule" have been produced based on the book's motifs. The boys from Čiekurkalns, Klāvs and Intars, accidentally encounter a plastic bag named Dusmukule, who is not only alive and talkative but also irate - he has been thrown into the trash and now, like countless other bags, aimlessly wanders the streets, gets tangled in tree branches, and splashes in puddles. How can the world be saved from plastic hooligans?
