No slats, but a solid board under the mattress. We can also deliver the bed, arranged for a fee in advance. Mattress size 90x200cm. The bed was purchased for 750 EUR and the mattress for 109 EUR. The bed has some minor visual defects where the dowels go in... this happened because my husband tried to assemble it alone, which is not recommended. These are not in noticeable places.
