Siesta is safe, ergonomic, and easy to install. The patented continuously adjustable reclining system allows the seat to recline by 20 degrees, which is more than most other seats available on the market. It is designed so that the center of gravity does not shift too far back, and it is the only reclining function on the market that truly solves the problem when children fall asleep in the seat. This, combined with the special backrest shape, allows the head to fall back even if the child is wearing a helmet. Siesta has a special patented safety belt. The safety belt can be fastened with one hand, leaving the other hand free to support the bicycle. Siesta is attached to the bicycle at one point on the lower tube between the bicycle seat and pedals. The child seat is attached to a freely suspended holder, and when hung like this, the seat provides excellent suspension to protect the child's spine. If the child bicycle seat is not used, it can be easily removed using the quick-release attachment.

Hamax Siesta is suitable for bicycles with 26 and 29-inch sizes and a seat tube diameter from 28 to 40 mm. The seat tube must be round. Aluminum or carbon bicycle frames must be manufacturer-approved for child seat installation.
