Selling an antique, large serving plate (32x25 cm) from the legendary Villeroy & Boch factory in Wallerfangen. This factory was closed in 1931, making these dishes a collector's rarity. The stamp (Mercury's staff) dates from 1874–1909.
🔹Classic "Blue & White" Chinoiserie style – rich, detailed design with an Oriental landscape.
🔹 For its respectable age (100+ years), it has been excellently preserved.
Minimal, natural glaze crazing (craquelure) is visible, which only confirms the dish's antiquity and authenticity. No cracks or chips.
A great specimen to place in a place of honor.
