Rarely found stage coat from Umberto Giordano's opera Andrea Chénier production (Sweden, Wermland Opera, 1997).
Possibly the costume of the character Mathieu (marked with “MATHIEU U. ALMGREN” and “ANDREA CHENIER MTV H.97”).
Material: thick wool (with small colorful dots, gray-brown shade).
Design: long (below the knees), wide collar/hood, 4 buttons in front, large flap pockets, sewn cuffs. Lined.

• length from shoulder to bottom: ~110–115 cm (long, dramatic silhouette)

Condition: good theater/vintage – externally smooth, no major defects, visible wear in the lining (seams, edges – normal after performances). No smell, no stains.
