An elegant and harmonious porcelain soup tureen from the German manufacturer KAHLA, with a delicate shape and classic gilding on the rim and handles, gives the item a refined, slightly aristocratic atmosphere. Decor – traditional floral bouquet in Meissen style (Meissen Blumen). This floral motif is rooted in the 18th century when the Meissen porcelain factory, founded in Saxony, created compositions inspired by botanical illustrations close to nature. Roses, cornflowers, anemones, violets, and other garden and meadow flowers were depicted, painted with subtle tonal transitions and lightness. These compositions became a classic European porcelain decor, radiating harmony and elegance. In the century, Meissen-style floral bouquets became particularly popular and were also interpreted in other European factories. Similar floral decor can be found in the Riga porcelain factory's services from the 1960s-1970s, so this German tureen will perfectly complement the Riga porcelain service with a similar floral motif. Condition is good – without cracks and chips, gilding with light signs of time patina, some areas have gold loss.
