saņēmusi ielūgumu uz sen neredzētā brāļa Īzaka un viņa draudzenes Lauras saderināšanās svinībām Le Sommet, Ēlina nolemj to pieņemt ‒ vairākus mēnešus viņa ir nīkusi bezdarbībā, spiesta uz laiku atteikties no detektīves darba.

Ieradusies augstkalnē sniega vētras priekšvakarā, Ēlina instinktīvi jūt, ka lepnajā viesnīcā viss nav tik nevainojami, kā izskatās no pirmā acu uzmetiena, ‒ bijušās sanatorijas ēkai piemīt kaut kas neizskaidrojami draudīgs. Un nākamajā rītā, kad izrādās, ka Laura ir piepeši pazudusi, Ēlinai nākas vadīties pēc savas saasinātās nojautas, lai mēģinātu viņu atrast.

Sniega vētra nepielūdzami tuvojas, un drīz vien visi ceļi, kas ved uz viesnīcu, ir slēgti. Jo ilgāk neizdodas atrast pazudušo Lauru, jo vairāk pieaug satraukums un bailes, kas pārņēmušas nedaudzos vēl viesnīcā palikušos viesus un darbiniekus.

Hotel Le Sommet, half-hidden in the forest surrounded by ominous mountain peaks, has been shrouded in eerie tales since ancient times. The former sanatorium stood empty and abandoned for a long time but has now been restored and transformed into a five-star minimalist-style hotel.

Elin Warner is not at all eager to visit this impressive resort in one of the most remote locations in the Swiss Alps. However, upon receiving an invitation to her long-lost brother Isaac and his girlfriend Laura's engagement celebration at Le Sommet, Elin decides to accept it—she has been idling for several months, forced to temporarily give up her detective work.

Arriving in the highlands on the eve of a snowstorm, Elin instinctively feels that everything in the grand hotel is not as flawless as it appears at first glance—the former sanatorium building possesses something inexplicably menacing. And the next morning, when it turns out that Laura has suddenly disappeared, Elin must rely on her heightened intuition to try to find her.

The snowstorm relentlessly approaches, and soon all roads leading to the hotel are closed. The longer Laura remains missing, the more anxiety and fear grow among the few guests and staff still left at the hotel.
