Charcoal, tinted quartz ground, 75x105 cm.
Painting with charcoal (liquid charcoal color, and pressed charcoal). The work is part of a series defending the painting master's thesis, with a specialization in drawing techniques. The theme of the work is related to exploring the imaginary, subconscious landscapes of the mind. The work is made on a specially prepared quartz texture
ground. The canvas is stretched on laths made by a carpenter, the total weight of the painting is 3.6 kg.
There are attachments for hanging the work. The work was exhibited in Ungurmuiža, 2023.X-2024.II in the solo exhibition "Sense of place". Located in the suburbs of Riga, Bergi. Delivery must be agreed individually.
