Ink and color applied on a dense base with a slight mica sheen, characteristic of studio works from the early 20th century. Depicted is a standing samurai in formal armor, with a spear and swords at his waist. The calm frontal pose and stylized armor details reflect the decorative historical manner of the era. The neutral background emphasizes the contour and color accents.
